Simple order form is a very basic e-shop component for Joomla! 1.5.

A client of mine needed to sell only few products and I didn't require a big and fancy web store. So this component was developed.

• 500 error fixed - some OS (like linux) are case sensitive I had to rename few files, now it should work OK

• error fixed - when submitting invalid data on frontend

• few untranslated strings fixed

If you see some strange code after installing component, please see if short_open_tag directive is  set to On in your php.ini file!

thanks for bug report, now its fixed

Hi! I have looked into it and there was an error with case sensitivity in unix like systems. I renamed few files and now it should work.

...unable to save new fields

Hello, I`ve added couple of new fields to install.sql, and input fields to /admin/views/product/tmpl/default.php BUT after I apply or save the record, it doesn`t store any of my newly added field info! why? what did I forget to change/add? Thanx in advance!

I have added your component in a module, however for some reason the order form is not completly shown.. I have to select everything in order to scroll down to see the comment area and send button. Is there some reason to work around this?

error after entering component on backend

hi! your component looks nice, i need check it so i install this but it is looks not working: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /homez.305/francehou/dev/administrator/components/com_simpleorderform/controllers/product.php on line 8 I got J! 1.5.14 could you please help me. I try comment //private $view; in this line and error goes to next line soi think it is with OO class.... but I dont knwo. t.

@lekirst: provide some info! Browser, php etc. It works ok in FF & IE 6&7 on Vista ... @jasmine: at this point with provided code no you cannot, you'll need modifications ... I'm free to hire :) @bronhit: be sure to use php5 and to have short_open_tag it must be something with your installation since it works fine else where (there is a bug however - when you hit sort columns - maybe thats it?)

USD instead of Euro

Please assist me in changing payment to USD. I see previous comment but am not that strong with php and cannot find the translation files in the Simple Order Form Component directory. Translation Files

Hey Miha! Nice little component - thanks for this! Just one thing though - I need to change the Euro to a GBP sign and I've had a good look around for what you call translation files. Can't seem to find anything that would do it - any chance of a pointer towards which file please?
