Spooler SubSystem App Stopped Working or how my printer disappeared

Today I was printing slides for my last exam that I will take this semester. Suddenly printer stopped working and an error appeared saying "Spooler SubSystem App Stopped Working". As usual I tried to reboot but that didn't help.

Tried to reinstall printer driver via Printers panel (Start, search Printer). Unable to see any printers as spooler service wasn't working. I've googled it a bit and found a solution:

Start -> Run - Regedit -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> ControlSet001 ->
Control -> Print -> Environments -> Windows NT x86 -> Version -3 -> Remove
All Printers From Here

Later I found that Vista has a nice built in tool called Print Manager. If you experience similar troubles try that first.

I tried your sp;ition and I found everything you said, but it didnt fix my problem. I think I just deleted a bunch of important stuff.

did you do it correctly?
Did you try print manager first?!
Anyway if you've done what it says you've deleted all printers. Now you have to fresh install your printer. However you could have different troubles that I've had. So this might not solve your problems. But all this instructions do is delete printer drivers!
