Mastering Joomla! 1.5

Joomla! is one of the most used CMS open source systems out there. I use it to develop web pages for my clients and simple web applications as well. Anyone who came across Joomla! and wanted to develop its own component knows that samples and documentation provided by Joomla! website is insufficient. Even code of core Joomla components is not consistent and it does not follow basic architectural concepts.

I skipped first few chapters since I was already familiar with MVC structure. But those that are new to MVC (Model View Controller) will appreciate first chapters. Later chapters go into details of Joomla! and gives some suggestions on how extensions should be structured. This book is my reference point for Joomla programming even after few years of Joomla freelancing.

This is a must read if you are a Joomla! 1.5 developer.
