I've read Managing information system security and privacy as part of my IPI exam studies. It was written by Denis Trček, my professor.

It explains how protocols security work. It's a bit out of date since protocols change every year. It gives, however, basic insights into network security and how we can manage information system security.

Since it was read as part of my studies, I've taken some notes and combined them with subjects presented in IPI slides and Wikipedia.
